Cow Face Pose is known as Gomukhasana in Sanskrit, which is a seated yoga posture used as an exercise. Also sometimes it is used for meditation. This pose is an ancient yoga asana popular for its tremendous benefits.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1
First sit with the legs stretched out then bend the left leg and bring the foot under the right hip. Bend the right leg over the left leg and craw it towards the left hip.

Step 2
And then keep the right knee on the left one. Without raising bend the left hand behind and bring the palm up.
Step 3
After that raise the right hand, bend down to reach the left palm and clasp. Hold the position and close eyes while breathing slowly. Sit in the position to the extent possible.
IMPORTANT
This yoga pose should not be practiced in conditions like lumbago, hernia, pregnancy.
People having any type of injury or disorder of neck, shoulder and arm should avoid practicing Gomukhasana.
People having ailments of knees should also avoid practicing this yoga posture.
